If you’re looking to go that extra mile to reinforce your professional image, then you may want to learn how to add social media icons to Gmail signature. Adding an email signature allows the recipient to get in touch when emailing is not possible. This visual guide will take you through the 6-step process.

Step 1

Go to your Gmail’s SettingsStep 1 of how to add social media icons to gmail signature

Step 2

Under the General tab, scroll down to Signature. Select your email address. Then type in your desired message. You may want to include your full name, phone number, website, and address (if it’s your business email account).Step 2 of how to add social media icons to gmail signature

Step 3

Copy-paste any of the social media icons below to the Signature entry field. I have included some of my favorite social media icons below. All the icons are in PNG format of 75 x 75 pixels which is perfect for embedding in original size. You can download the entire pack here.

The Result

From now on whenever you compose an email, you’ll see your signature already inputted there. I have tried  to stylize my signature by writing the text in italics and in quotation.Step 7 of how to add social media icons to gmail signature

And that’s it! You now have a more professional-looking email signature than what you had just 5 minutes ago. If you’re still confused about any of the steps, then please do visit Amy Farr’s article on LinkedIn. It covers the same topic but with greater details. On an ending note, if you are curious about my Gmail’s weird layout or my send button, then stay tuned by subscribing to my newsletter. I will write a post about them soon.

Have a great day!
