A few months back, we had class presentations on famous brands. During the presentations, I realized something. I couldn’t pronounce a lot of the brands mentioned there. I tried learning them later but who knew that pronunciation of famous brands could be such a challenge.

From the world of high fashion to everyday food items, there are always brand names that cause embarrassment to us. Some of them are so confusing that the companies had to promote videos in order to educate the customers.

While researching on this topic, several websites helped me cross-check the pronunciation (it’s not pro-noun-cia-tion but actually pro-nun-cia-tion). Several articles from websites like Business Insider, Elite Daily, Scoop Whoop came in handy. Harper Bazar’s article did a neat job in rounding up the biggest names in the high fashion industry. One can even find YouTube channels like Pronunciation Book dedicated to pronunciation.

So here’s a SlideShare upload consisting of pretty much all the troublesome brands that I could find. You can download the file for later use by clicking right here. Enjoy!
